This output is based on an idealized calculation which neglects the
pressure drop between the pump and each nozzle. The actual relationship
between pump pressure adjustment and total flow adjustment should be
checked by calibration. |
| nozz | Flow adjustment associated with
different nozzle sets (% flow of reference nozzle set).
The default value (100) therefore represents the reference nozzle set. However, different input values may be used to simulate the relative flow of
different nozzle sets at reference pressure. |
| open | Number of open nozzles.
If different types of nozzle are used in a single set it may be necessary to make additional adjustments (i.e. under "nozz" heading). |
| dose | Dose adjustment (% of the reference dose per unit of applied ground area or % adjustment of UK label dose). |
| ppp | Plant protection product flow adjustment
(% of the reference dose per unit row length). |
| water | Water volume flow adjustment (% of the reference water volume application rate). |
